Divine Pattern

Like waves of the ocean, everything has a pattern. The divine pattern cannot be interpreted from a finite lens. As the waves move forward and then pull back, we, too, can take action and relax, like the push-pull of a workout. We are just a tiny piece of God with both free will AND destiny. Why? Because free will is whatever God’s will is because there is only God, which can only truly be known from an infinite perspective. From the finite ego, we see it as being done to us, or what we coin as destiny, because it’s not something the ego self-created. But to tap into and be in total agreement with God’s will is the ultimate key.

The problem is we don’t always know what God’s will is. This is where doing this pattern helps. If you are truly passionate about something, it has been put into your path for a reason. Recognize that passion and start with a small goal. My goals used to be so big and lofty that I was too overwhelmed to achieve them. Now, I set a small goal and take action. The next right action doesn’t always have to be clear. What’s most important is that there is energy in motion. Some sort of action, whether big or small, is being taken.

Next, pull back and rest. Do something different, anything that does not relate to your goal. This is especially helpful if you have hit a wall, such as writer’s block, or are struggling with ideas. Then act again. It’s a push-pull. You can be anything. Just go out there and be it.
